Climate & Clothing Suggestions
The “wet” season is normally December to
March, and has variable weather. In one day,
you can have bright sunshine and heavy
downpours. The rain does not usually last
long.
The “dry” season is from May to November
and is the easiest time to travel. June to
August are the coolest months, with cold
mornings & evenings. October is the hottest
month in Zambia, so be prepared for
temperatures of over 40 degrees celcius if you
travel.
High Season:
01 June – 31 October
Low Season:
01 January – 31 May
01 November – 31 December
Victoria Falls:
April–May
(after the rainy season, spectacular
with thick spray)
October – December
(after the dry season,
magnificent rock formations)
Clothing should be cool and comfortable.
Jerseys and heavier jackets are required for
winter mornings and evenings. Muted colours
are the most suitable on safari. We advise
long sleeves and long trousers for mornings
and evenings due to mosquitoes. Sturdy and
comfortable shoes are essential. Rafting
sandals for the Falls excursions.
A fully complimentary laundry service is
offered daily.

Victoria Falls available, road transfers can also be
