Climate & Clothing Suggestions
The “wet” season is normally December to March, and has variable weather. In one day, you can have bright sunshine and heavy downpours. The rain does not usually last long.
The “dry” season is from May to November and is the easiest time to travel. June to August are the coolest months, with cold mornings & evenings. October is the hottest month in Zambia, so be prepared for temperatures of over 40 degrees celcius if you travel.

Opening:
01 May 2008
High Season:
01 June – 31 October
Low Season:
01 Jan – 31 May
01 November – 31 December

Clothing should be cool and comfortable. Jerseys and heavier jackets are required for winter mornings and evenings. Muted colours are the most suitable on safari. We advise long sleeves
and long trousers for mornings and evenings due to mosquitoes. Sturdy and comfortable shoes are essential.
A fully complimentary laundry service is offered daily.
